The desert at night from this glass house is indescribable. Coyotes howling, stars so thick you can't see the sky between them. The architecture disappears into the landscape.
As an architect myself, I'm rarely impressed by 'design-forward' properties. This one genuinely stopped me in my tracks. The thermal mass walls, the siting, the material palette — exceptional.
Stunning property. Be prepared for the heat — even in spring it gets intense midday. But the evening temperatures are perfect and the pool is a lifesaver.
The saguaro forest surrounding the property at golden hour is something I'll carry with me forever. The outdoor shower under the desert sky was an experience in itself.
